![]() ![]() So, that in mind any suggestions for something that smells the same? Screw art or creativity, I just want a fragrance to smell nice, and last a few hours on my skin, not make a bloody statement about culture or life as we know it. In this fragrance community, where practically everything is slated for not being original and where everything has been done before, by someone, sometime, in some form then i find it hard to believe that there are not any fragrances that are same without ruining it (IMO) by making it over spicy, earthy, skanky or bitter. It is a very smooth and creamy, fresh shaving foam kind of smell that I really love. It doesn't go all spicy and dark or earthy on the dry down and despite it's freshness it does have a slight creamy sweetness in the background although it is not a sweet scent at all. To my nose, RG is very smooth, not harsh and very much has a shaving foam vibe, which I like. I saw a YT video by Sebastian but all his 'alternatives were IMO way off the mark based on his supporting comments like 'this is similar but 'boozy' or 'it has a ramped up liquorice note' or something along those lines, clearly illustrating that it is thereby not the SAME as RG at all. So, is there anything out there that smells the SAME (note: not slightly similar or a similar 'vibe' but the SAME). Just my luck, I struggle for ages to be wowed by anything only to finally be wowed and find I can't get it without selling a kidney. so it looks like I need something that smells the same, if such a thing exists? However, it's discontinued (in both tin can and the 'La Collection' square bottle versions) I refuse to bend down and take it, by paying what is being asked for it on eBay or amazon etc. With such a wealth of luxury real estate, this world-renowned area of Paris offers something for everyone seeking to acquire their own small part of this mythical city.OK, so I've sampled YSL Rive Gauche (Tin can version) and love it, in fact I want some. ![]() Think reception apartments with entry galleries and double-exposition lounges with views out to the Hôtel des Invalides town mansions with private gardens overlooking the Champs de Mars charming duplex apartments in the vicinity of the Saint-Germain Church or even 19th century artist’s studios boasting conservatories and floral terraces. ![]() Whether in the chic districts of Invalides and Yves Saint-Laurent’s beloved Avenue de Breteuil, around the magnificent Luxembourg Garden or the cinemas of Saint-Michel, Emile Garcin will introduce you to unique properties with exclusive facilities. ![]() From the gentle inclines of Montagne Sainte-Geneviève to the domed silhouette of the Panthéon, from the historic Sorbonne to the bustling neighbourhood of Odéon, when on the Left Bank one is never far from a reminder of the area’s intellectual and academic heritage.
